Secretary-General of ASEAN meets with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 14 October 2026, met with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, H.E. Maxim Markovich, on the sidelines of his working visit to Russia. They exchanged views on strengthening ASEAN-Russia cooperation in agriculture and food security, including through the ASEAN-Russia Agriculture and Food Security Cooperation Work Programme 2026-2030. They also conversed on resilient food and agricultural input supplies, sustainable and regenerative agriculture, research and innovation, and mutually beneficial agricultural trade and investment.
