Greenberg Traurig Advises Altree Developments on Setai-Branded Resort Project in St. Maarten

ORLANDO - Jan. 8, 2026 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented Toronto-based Altree Developments, a leader in international real estate, in negotiating a licensing agreement to use The Setai Hotels brand for a new resort under construction in St. Maarten.

The primary hotel will now debut as The Setai St. Maarten, a 205-key luxury property with private villas located along the shores of Indigo Bay. Scheduled to open in 2028, the resort will feature both residential and hotel accommodations, with one- to four-bedroom layouts encompassing up to 2,000+ square feet, and dual key residence options up to 6,000 square feet.
