Make plans to attend ColorPalooza presented by Lakeside Arts Foundation, one of the most colorful and vibrant events in town, on Saturday, April 25, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., in and around Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street.
ColorPalooza: A Celebration of Spring is a family-friendly, outdoor event, featuring a wide variety of exhibits and interactive activities with a "spring" feel. Visitors will get to show off their artistic abilities, watch skilled artists create one-of-a-kind masterpieces, learn to better care for the earth, and learn how to make their homes more environmentally friendly.

Musical performers on the Wayne Ferguson Plaza Stage include The Pan-Tones, Jay-B and The Zydeco Posse, and a Disney cover concert by The Grays. Cultural performers will include S.T.V. Almrausch, North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums, Edd M. Philippine Dance Company, and Kumbala Dance Studio will entertain festival goers throughout the day on the CoServ Stage at City Hall.

Volunteers still needed
The City is still accepting applications for volunteers to help with this year's ColorPalooza event.
Available volunteer roles include Cultural Dressing Room Monitor, Interactive Arts & Crafts Assistant, and Vendor Check-In/Parking Lot Attendant.
