Overnight tree replacement work on 100 Avenue

Contractors will be completing tree replacement work along 100 Avenue between 98 Street and 100 Street overnight from 9 p.m. Saturday, August 15 to 9 a.m. Sunday, August 16.

The work is part of final warranty activities associated with the downtown rehabilitation of 100 Avenue. Overnight scheduling is intended to minimize impacts to downtown businesses and traffic.

Crews will primarily work within parking lanes. Traffic is expected to remain open, although brief traffic stops may be required as equipment and materials are moved in and out of the work area.

Drivers travelling through the area are asked to watch for workers and equipment and follow any temporary traffic controls in place.
