Colt Ford Pulled Through Windshield With Broken Shoulder After Bus Crash

Colt Ford revealed he's healing from a broken shoulder after a recent tour bus accident.

The country star, 56, posted a photo of the bus on Instagram, and explained that emergency responders had to pull him through the windshield. He wrote in his caption: "One minute you're headed to Germany for a show and prepping for single release the next thing you know your Bus is in the ditch and you're getting pulled through a windshield with a broken shoulder by First Responders. The crew is a little banged up but we're all still here."

Jake Owen , Meghan Patrick, George Birge, Drew Baldridge and other artists commented with well-wishes to the Georgia-born country star. Ford, who suffered a near-fatal heart attack in 2024, has not offered additional details about the accident or his recovery as of publication time on Friday (August 14).

Ford was referring to his new single, "Fake Redneck," which arrived on Friday morning. Songwriters Michael Hardy (HARDY), Benjy Davis and Cameron Montgomery teamed up to pen the newly-released single. Ford's next tour stop is listed for Saturday (August 15) in Ballenstedt, Germany, per his website. Ford has not announced publicly addressed whether the bus accident will impact his upcoming performance date as of publication time.
