SEASIDE HEIGHTS WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Seaside Heights Borough recently closed on a $826,147 loan with the NJ Water Bank to replace aging water mains throughout the community and bring the system up to current standards. The existing mains are shallow, undersized, and well beyond their useful life, creating both reliability and safety concerns.

The upgrades will:

Improve water quality by reducing the risk of breaks, leaks, and potential contamination.
Enhance system reliability with stronger, properly sized mains designed to meet today's demands.
Support fire protection by providing greater water pressure and flow capacity for hydrants.
Increase resiliency against extreme weather events, reducing the risk of service disruptions.
Protect ratepayers by avoiding the costly emergency repairs and water loss that come with deteriorating infrastructure.
