Next Sessions of Fair Housing Course October 1 and December 11

Loudoun County's Department of Housing and Community Development will host the next two sessions of its fair housing course, "Complete Overview and Understanding of Virginia Fair Housing," on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The goal of the three-hour course is to provide participants with information about both the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Virginia Fair Housing Law. This course provides critical fair housing law information to help attendees understand their rights and responsibilities under the law.

Anyone involved in housing as a current or potential renter, buyer, financial adviser, realtor, mortgage loan officer, appraiser, property manager, landlord, or builder is encouraged to attend. Courses are free to attend, but registration is required.

Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive a certificate. Attendees that hold a Fair Housing Certification (or are applying for certification) or a Real Estate Salesperson/Broker License through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation can apply their course completion certificate towards Continuing Education (CE) Credits or Post Licensing Education (PLE) Credits for their fair housing certification or real estate license. Completed CE and PLE hours are reported by the Loudoun County Fair Housing School to the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
