Free Electronic Waste Drop-Off Event
At the October free drop off event, electronic waste and appliances will be accepted. In addition, there will be free paper shredding on-site.
Saturday, October 18, 2025
9:00am - 12:00pm
City Convenience Center (330 East Britannia St.)
Proof of Residency Required
No Commercial Waste
No Box Trucks
No Prohibited Items
Acceptable Items:
Computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, fax machines, photocopiers, televisions, VCRs, phones, cell phones, cameras, DVDs, video game consoles, MP3 players, hard drives, tablets, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, wash towers, water heaters, portable A/C units, exercise equipment, vacuums, microwaves and other white goods.
Prohibited Items:
Asbestos material, automotive wet cell or AGM batteries, car parts, chemicals, construction material, contaminated soil, fluorescent bulbs, medical waste, oversized bulk items, propane tanks, smoke & fire alarms, thermometers & thermostats, tires, and yard waste.
