Bolaños se reúne con el embajador de Reino Unido en España, Alex Ellis

Durante la reunión, el ministro ha destacado que España y Reino Unido siguen cooperando de manera fluida en el ámbito judicial tras el Brexit y que para ello se han constituido dos grupos de trabajo de cooperación bilateral, uno en materia penal y otro en materia civil, que se reunirán por primera vez en Londres los próximos días 24 y 25 de septiembre.
El objetivo, según subrayó Bolaños, es que, tras esta primera reunión, se sigan reuniendo alternativamente en Madrid y Londres de manera periódica.
Además, el ministro les ha agradecido que Reino Unido se sumara este domingo al reconocimiento oficial del Estado de Palestina, como ya hizo España en mayo de 2024.
