Top 10 Dutch Grand Prix qualifying for Verstappen, Lawson and Lindblad

Oracle Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen fought hard to qualify in seventh place for this home Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort after earlier finishing sixth in the Sprint race in front of his home fans.

Four time world champion Verstappen, fresh off signing a new contract with Oracle Red Bull racing through until 2030, finished the sprint race less than half-a-second from fifth place as Mercedes driver George Russell drove to victory ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and McLaren's Lando Norris.

Then, in a tight and extremely competitive qualifying session the Dutchman drove his RB22 to seventh place, just 0.5s behind pole-sitter Norris.

One place behind in eight place was Verstappen's team-mate for the weekend, Liam Lawson. The New Zealand driver moved up from Visa Cash App RB to fill in for the injured Isack Hadjar this weekend and responded with his best qualifying session since the Barcelona Grand Prix.

Making it into Q3 and securing 10th was Visa Cash App RB's rookie Arvid Lindblad, while reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda secured 12th place in his first Grand Prix of 2026.
