Roadwork May Slow Traffic on Hells Canyon Highway Starting Nov. 2

OXBOW, Ore. - Drivers using the Hells Canyon Highway north of Oxbow should use extra caution and expect occasional delays due to roadwork between Big Bar and Eagle Bar.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane through work zones while crews do maintenance work from Nov. 2 through Dec. 11. Delays should last no more than 30 minutes. A temporary traffic signal will be in place.

The work area is the roughly 7-mile stretch between Big Bar (about 14 miles north of Oxbow) and Eagle Bar.
