Prime Minister Robert Golob meets with Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi

The meeting began with a one-on-one discussion between Prime Minister Golob and Minister Wang Yi, followed by talks between the two delegations. During the delegation-level talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations. The two countries enjoy fruitful cooperation on the international political stage, particularly within the framework of the United Nations Security Council. A ceasefire and lasting peace in Ukraine and Palestine are goals that both countries are committed to.

Slovenia and China already maintain strong economic ties. Prime Minister Golob emphasised the importance of continuing and further enhancing cooperation in the economic and technological fields, which serves the interests of both sides.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prime Minister Golob and Minister Wang Yi reaffirmed their committment to ongoing dialogue and to strengthening mutual trust and cooperation.
