Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia
08 September, 2026On September 7, within the framework of his official visit to Riga, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže.
The meeting was held first in a tête-à-tête format and then in an expanded format with the participation of the delegations.
Following the meeting, Ministers Mirzoyan and Braže held a joint press conference.
Within the framework of the visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia signed the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on the implementation of the «Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the readmission of persons residing without authorisation».
Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže laid flowers at the Freedom Monument in Riga.
