Richardson Animal Shelter Waiving Adoption Fees
RICHARDSON - The Richardson Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees for all dogs currently in its care as the facility works to address limited space and a steady increase in intake.
Dogs arrive at the shelter daily through a variety of circumstances, including strays, owner surrenders, and transfers. Staff members are working to provide care for every dog while also searching for permanent homes.
Residents are encouraged to visit the shelter to meet the dogs in person or contact staff to learn more about each animal's personality and needs.
In addition to adoption, the shelter is asking the public to help spread the word by sharing information about available dogs with friends and neighbors.
Donations of food, towels, and toys, as well as volunteer assistance, are also welcome.
