The University of Toledo's College of Medicine and Life Sciences held its first Residency and Fellowship Fair for medical students seeking residencies and current residents seeking fellowships in the Ohio and Michigan region.

Representatives from 35 Ohio and Michigan residency and fellowship programs - including Mercy Health, Kettering Health and Cleveland Clinic Akron General - connected with students at the event.

"This was our inaugural residency fair, and we had a great turnout of students and residency programs from all over the area," said Dr. Matthew Graber, assistant dean of graduate medical education at UToledo. "It gave students a chance to talk to faculty, program directors and current residents and make connections that we hope will last for a long time."

This was the first on campus residency fair offered to UToledo medical students searching to connect to a residency program, and to current UToledo Health residents looking for a fellowship.
