THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Entergy Texas is urging customers to finalize their storm preparations as Tropical Storm Edouard approaches the Southeast Texas coast.
The current National Hurricane Center forecast calls for 3 to 6 inches of rainfall across portions of our service territory, with up to 9 inches possible. Heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding, and tropical-storm-force winds are possible along coastal areas.
Entergy Texas is prepared to respond to any impacts from Tropical Storm Edouard. The company activated its emergency operations center and strategically positioned crews and equipment across Southeast Texas ahead of the storm.
Customers should put safety first and continue monitoring the latest forecasts and guidance from local emergency management officials.
