McKinney National Airport will host a Display Day on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1508 Industrial Blvd., offering the community an opportunity to explore a variety of aircraft up close. Attendees can view a diverse range of aircraft, including emergency medical services (EMS) helicopters, drones, corporate jets, Civil Air Patrol planes, and models such as short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft, and J-3 Cub. The event is free, with food and beverages available for purchase.
In addition to aircraft displays, local flight schools will be present to provide information on aviation education opportunities.
McKinney National Airport has been a significant contributor to the local economy, generating nearly $300 million in annual economic activity. With plans to introduce commercial air service in late 2026, the airport is poised to further enhance its impact on the region. In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26.
