Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital Recognized Among 2025’s “100 Great Hospitals in America' by Becker’s Hospital Review

New Brunswick, NJ, December 23, 2025 - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH), part of the RWJBarnabas Health Children's Health network of care, were recognized by Becker's Hospital Review's "100 Great Hospitals in America" for the second year. The hospitals featured on this list are selected for their exceptional clinical performance, unwavering focus on patient safety, and dedication to innovation, research and education, and their commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences.

RWJUH is New Jersey's largest academic medical center through its deep partnership with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers Cancer Institute. RWJUH has also earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® for Disease-Specific Care Certification for Spine Surgery; The Joint Commission Gold Seal Certification for Bariatric Services; and The Joint Commission Gold Seal Certification for Hip and Knee Replacement services. The Joint Commission also awarded RWJUH a Gold Seal Certification as well as an Advanced Certification in Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Implantation.
