TDOT Announces Closure of SR 211 in Dyersburg for Bridge Replacement

JACKSON, TN - The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will close State Route 211 in Dyersburg for a bridge replacement project over the North Fork of the Forked Deer River and a second bridge over the overflow. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 31, with the project expected to be completed on or before May 31, 2028.

This $18.7 M project includes the construction of a new concrete beam bridge on SR 211, along with associated grading, drainage improvements, and paving. The work is part of TDOT's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance roadway safety, and support future transportation needs across the region. A fully signed detour route will be posted to guide motorists around the closure.
