Celebration of the International Navruz Holiday at the permanent missions of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

On March 20, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Kuwait hosted a celebration of the International Day of Navruz with the participation of a limited group of Tajik residents in Kuwait and students.

The International Navruz celebration in Germany was held at a high level, with festive events taking place on March 21, 2026 in Hamburg and on March 28, 2026 in Berlin. The events featured national displays, traditional crafts, clothing, and cultural programs, while Tajik Navruz traditions and the country's rich cultural heritage were presented to the guests.

Additionally, on March 29 in Düsseldorf, a cultural event was held with the support of the Chairman of the Majlisi milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, H.E. Rustami Emomali, bringing together more than 1,100 guests.

On March 30, 2026, a cultural event dedicated to the International Holiday of Navruz was held in Astana at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On March 31, 2026, a solemn gala celebration of Navruz was held at the initiative of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international organizations at Geneva attended by numerous guests.

On 7 April 2026, at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the International Navruz Festival was held with special magnificence under the coordination of the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCO and with the participation of the Navruz celebrating countries.

This celebration brought together representatives of UNESCO Member States, the Secretariat and staff of the Organization, as well as nationals of the Navruz celebrating countries, including Tajikistan citizens residing in France and Europe, to brightly and solemnly celebrate Navruz and the arrival of spring.

On April 7, 2026, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a cultural event entitled "Chakan Fashion Show: The Heritage of Traditions Through the Ages", dedicated to the International Holiday of Navruz, was held at the Fairmont Baku Hotel.
