Moolenaar on the Release of Stephen Hubbard from Russian Prison

Congressman John Moolenaar released the following statement on the release of Steven Hubbard, a native of Big Rapids, Michigan, who was held captive in a Russian prison for four years:

"Stephen Hubbard was unjustly held captive by Russia for four years after he was captured and wrongly convicted of being a mercenary. Stephen grew up in Michigan, served our country in the Air Force, and faced unimaginable hardship as a hostage of Putin's regime. I am grateful the Trump administration negotiated his release, and Stephen can finally return home to the United States and his family."
