Motor Vehicle Division Temporary Closure

During this closure, a portion of the lobby will be remodeled to create a Client Services Coordinator workstation and train staff on new state-mandated software being implemented at all DMVs.

The Broomfield Motor Vehicle Office will be closed for the week of Sept. 15-19 to address facility modifications, and implement operational improvements. During this closure, a portion of the lobby will be remodeled to create a Client Services Coordinator workstation and train staff on new state-mandated software being implemented at all DMVs. The office will reopen on Monday, Sept. 22 with new hours Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

These improvements will create a new service model in the Broomfield Motor Vehicle Office. A Client Services Coordinator will be available for things such as verifying residency, directing residents to appropriate alternative resources when needed and ensuring clients have all required paperwork before proceeding.

Benefits from Adjusted Hours:

  • Faster processing of titles and lien releases
  • Processing Backlogs: Dedicated focus on mail-related work to reduce delays
  • Motor vehicle applications will be processed faster with the dedicated time to complete important behind-the-scenes work, like filing paperwork.
  • Continued shorter wait times than other counties (20-28 minutes instead of 45-90 minutes)
