DHS will continue to keep our homeland safe and remove illegal aliens from American communities
WASHINGTON -- Yesterday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more worst of the worst illegal aliens, including those convicted for heinous crimes such as murder, sexual offense with a child, and kidnapping.
"Every day, the patriots of ICE are working to target the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our country. Just yesterday, ICE arrested murderers, pedophiles, kidnappers, and other violent criminals to make America safe again," said Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin. "Under President Trump's leadership, there will be no safe haven for illegal aliens, including in sanctuary cities which put illegal aliens over their own citizens. We will never apologize for arresting and deporting illegal aliens, because that's how we protect American lives."
Yesterday's arrests include:
Ung Bang, a criminal illegal alien from Vietnam, convicted for first-degree murder in Alhambra, California.
Karel Pineda, a criminal illegal alien from Cuba, convicted for first-degree sex offense with a child and second-degree arson in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Henry Duarte-Morataya, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, convicted for TWO counts of sex assault, risk of injury to a child, and reckless endangerment in Stamford, Connecticut.
Masroor Ahmed Butt, a criminal illegal alien from India, convicted for intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and possession of child pornography in Washington, D.C.
Sean Lopes, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana, convicted for kidnapping and possession of a weapon in New York, New York.
