Give Your Garden a Boost: Free Community Compost Pick-Up Days
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, Bellflower's Community Compost Pick-ups are a great opportunity to bring home high-quality freecompost. Composting is a simple way to reduce waste and give nutrients back to the earth.
The City of Bellflower, with funding from CalRecycle, will host Community Compost Pick-Ups at Palm Park, 9245 Palm St., on the following days:
- March 27 - April 3, 2026
- May 29 - June 5, 2026
- July 24 - July 31, 2026
By transforming organic materials such as food scraps, yard trimmings and plant-based products into nutrient-rich compost, we reduce landfill waste, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and support healthier soil for gardens and landscapes here in Bellflower.
