Eastbound and westbound lanes of I-64 to be closed at the Culloden interchange beginning Tuesday, June 16, 2026
One eastbound and one westbound lane of Interstate 64 will be closed at the Culloden interchange project from 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026, for paving work in anticipation of an upcoming lane shift.
In May 2022, Triton Construction Inc. was awarded a contract for $32,346,00 to build a new interchange between Hurricane and Milton to connect US 60 in Culloden with I-64. The project is expected to open up economic development in the area, improve safety, and eliminate a lengthy commute to I-64 for area residents.
