Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Main Street

Released: October 23, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB- At 5:46 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2025, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a commercial building in the 100 block of Main Street.

At the scene, crews found smoke and flames coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control within an hour. No injuries were reported. Temporary road closures are in place in the northbound 100 block of Main Street.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
