Sen. Cramer: U.S. Department of Energy Awards $1 Million for Energy Research at UND

BISMARCK, N.D. - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) selected the University of North Dakota (UND) for $1 million in research funding through the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR).

The announcement supports President Donald Trump's Executive Order, Restoring Gold Standard Science, and advances research in areas critical to U.S. scientific and technological leadership.

UND's research will examine the chemical properties and stability of advanced materials made from graphene and molybdenum disulfide. The project was selected through DOE's Building EPSCoR-State/National Laboratory Partnerships program, which supports collaborative research between universities and DOE national laboratories.
