Equinor Bags Contract to Supply Gas to Germany

Equinor ASA has signed a 15-year agreement with Uniper SE to supply over 30 terawatt hours - about 2.8 billion cubic meters (around 99 billion cubic feet) - a year of natural gas to Germany. "Germany is Equinor's largest market for natural gas and has been an anchor market for Norwegian gas since exports started in 1977. Iran Reports Discovery of 7.5tcf of Natural Gas

Iran has discovered more than 7.5 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of natural gas in the southern province of Fars, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad claimed on state television, Bloomberg reported. The announcement comes after months of conflict involving the US and Israel, which has severely affected Iran's energy infrastructure.
