Arcadia University's Public Health program is proud to announce that the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) has re-accredited Arcadia's public health programs through 2033. Arcadia's Public Health program awards a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a Concentration in Global Health and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a Community Health Concentration. The Department of Public Health offers the MPH as a stand-alone degree, or part of our robust dual-degree programs, including MPH/Physician Assistant (MPH/MMS), MPH/Physical Therapy (MPH/DPT), MPH/Counseling (MPH/MAC), or MPH/International Peace & Conflict Resolution (MPH/IPCR). The program also offers a fully accredited online Master of Public Health degree with the Community Health concentration.

Arcadia's Public Health programs equip students with the tools to study, research, and practice to improve health outcomes for communities and populations. Core coursework in health policy, health research, epidemiology, and global health fosters evidence-based action to address social, economic, and environmental determinants of health amid today's global challenges. Embedded internship and capstone experiences prepare graduates to apply public health concepts worldwide and through meaningful and rewarding careers in public health education, community health, and global health policy.

Recent Public Health program highlights include:

• Dr. Comfort Z. Olorunsaiye, an Associate Professor of Public Health, receiving the University's first National Institutes of Health R15 grant, an award to help strengthen university infrastructure for research, and also to strengthen the research environment for students.
• Arcadia Public Health program consistently ranks high on various "Best Of" lists, including U.S. News & World Report's 2026 Best Grad Schools list.
• Public Health faculty have received nearly $500,000 in grant funding over the past five years, to conduct impactful research and scholarly innovation.
• Recent graduates have gone on to careers as epidemiologists, environmental health specialists, health data specialists, physician assistants, physical therapists, and many other careers, using the MPH foundational competencies to guide their practice.

Accreditation serves as a seal of approval for institutions, employers, and students by validating that programs meet accepted standards and benchmarks of quality assurance established by and with the profession. Accreditation provides assurance that the curricula cover essential skills and knowledge needed for today's jobs. It also enhances employment opportunities in positions that base eligibility upon graduation from an accredited program.
