Across the country, 14 Trinity alumni clubs are doing more than bringing graduates together - they are creating moments of connection that spark engagement, inspire generosity, and advance Our Time: The Campaign for Trinity University . Through alumni-led leadership and locally driven programming, these clubs bring Trinity's mission to life where Tigers live and lead.
That spirit was visible this past January when Allan Cuevas '96 created an inspiring video to help rally more than 50 alumni in New York City to celebrate the Campaign's progress alongside President Vanessa Beasley. The gathering offered a powerful reminder that when alumni take the lead, local connection becomes collective momentum - fueling pride, participation, and belief in Trinity's future.
Moments like these are happening across Trinity's alumni network. Over the past year alone, alumni clubs hosted 47 events, welcomed 663 alumni attendees, and played key roles in six 1869 Challenge events. As a result of sustained efforts like these, more than 70% of Trinity alumni have engaged with the University since the launch of the Campaign through events, volunteerism, or ongoing communication.
What makes alumni clubs such effective drivers of engagement is their ability to meet alumni where they are. Club events foster belonging through shared experiences, regional pride, and meaningful relationships, creating entry points for continued involvement and deeper connections to Trinity.
That impact has been especially evident through club-led participation in Trinity's iconic 1869 Challenge. Since 2024, alumni clubs across the country have organized events, rallied local networks, and competed in friendly challenges to support Trinity and strengthen regional communities. Last fall, 175 alumni from 11 clubs raised nearly $90,000, showcasing what's possible when engagement and philanthropy go hand in hand.
Together, these stories highlight a powerful truth: Trinity's alumni clubs are far more than social gatherings. They are engines of connection - building momentum, expanding participation, and helping Trinity rise through the passion and commitment of alumni nationwide.
