TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - New Traffic Pattern on NB I-95
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists the next major phase switch is scheduled for Saturday, April 18th through Sunday, April 19th.
· 6:00 pm-Close and detour Exit 5A (NB I-95 to Airport Road)-detour is Exit 5B
· 6:00 pm-NB I-95 Single right lane closure at Rt 1
· 8:00 pm-NB I- 95 lane reduction (three thru lanes on NB I-95)
· 11:00 pm-NB I-95 lane reduction from Rt 1 to Airport Road Exit 5A (1 thru lane on NB I-95)
· 10:00 am-All lanes and ramps open to traffic
Please note: the two left lanes of NB I-95 will continue to have a concrete barrier between the three right lanes. Pavement markings will show route designations prior to the decision point of entry.
Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. For more information visit the DelDOT website at www.deldot.gov, or download the DelDOT app.
