RE: Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy Diagnostic Requirements

Alabama Medicaid beneficiaries must be evaluated and diagnosed with an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) eligible diagnosis by a qualified practitioner to receive ABA services. Qualified practitioners include licensed psychologists, licensed psychiatrists and licensed pediatricians.

A Webex meeting to discuss program updates is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. During the meeting we will review program updates for ABA services. Please use the link below to join the meeting.
