On July 29, as part of a working programme in the Truong Sa Archipelago, a delegation from PVI Insurance Corporation visited Truong Sa Island and carried out a range of meaningful appreciation and social welfare activities to support the officers, soldiers and residents living and working on the country's maritime frontline.

As the first and only non-life insurer in Vietnam to receive an A- (Excellent) Financial Strength Rating from international credit rating agency AM Best, and as a market leader in revenue and market share for several consecutive years, PVI Insurance has consistently maintained that business growth must go hand in hand with social responsibility. In addition to providing insurance solutions for many of the country's key economic sectors, the company actively implements community-focused programmes that promote compassion, solidarity and a spirit of sharing.

The visit to Truong Sa Island provided PVI Insurance with an opportunity to express its gratitude to the officers and soldiers who work tirelessly to safeguard the nation's sacred sovereignty over its seas and islands, while also encouraging local residents and fishermen who remain steadfast in their commitment to the sea and the islands.

During the visit, the delegation solemnly offered incense at the Memorial to Heroic Martyrs and the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House on Truong Sa Island. The ceremony carried profound significance, reflecting deep gratitude to previous generations who sacrificed their lives for the country's independence, freedom and maritime sovereignty. It also helped nurture patriotism and national pride among every member of the delegation.

Alongside the commemorative activities, the delegation visited and presented gifts to local households and fishermen living on the island. It also visited the island's medical clinic and Truong Sa Primary School, extending words of encouragement to medical personnel, teachers and pupils.

Although modest in material value, the gifts conveyed PVI Insurance's sincere care, solidarity and desire to provide additional encouragement to the troops and residents living amid the challenging conditions of the country's maritime frontier.

Through this series of meaningful activities on Truong Sa Island, PVI Insurance seeks to promote a message of solidarity, social responsibility and love for the nation's seas and islands. The visit also enabled the company's employees to gain a deeper understanding of the living and working conditions of the island's troops and residents, fostering greater appreciation for the quiet sacrifices of those who work day and night to protect the country's sacred sovereignty.

The journey to Truong Sa was not merely a working visit, but also a journey of gratitude and responsibility. In line with its sustainable development strategy, PVI Insurance will continue to support social welfare initiatives, spread positive values throughout the community and affirm its role as a responsible and compassionate enterprise that demonstrates its commitment to the nation through practical and meaningful actions.
