TORONTO, OntarioON - Bank of America announced that it has provided funding to the Canadian Red Cross to help communities across Canada recover and rebuild after this summer's wildfires, as many of the affected communities continue to face significant recovery and rebuilding needs.
The funding is part of a broader two hundred thousand dollars$200,000 contribution supporting communities affected by natural disasters in other regions around the world.
This summer's wildfires forced evacuations, displaced families and disrupted communities across Canada. As recovery efforts continue, the Canadian Red Cross is helping affected individuals, families and communities access support and resources as they navigate the long process of rebuilding.
