Comment on Fitness of Superior Court Judges Seeking Appointment or Reappointment as Senior Judges

The D.C. Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure is seeking comment from members of the bar, litigants, former jurors, interested organizations, and the public on the performance and qualifications of eight D.C. Superior Court judges who are seeking initial appointment or reappointment as senior judges on the court.

The commission is reviewing the qualifications of the following judges:

  • Cheryl M. Long
  • Gregory E. Mize
  • Craig Iscoe
  • Kimberley S. Knowles
  • Patricia A. Wynn
  • Zoe Bush
  • Russell F. Canan
  • Natalia Combs Greene

The deadline for comments for Judge Long and Judge Mize is October 17, 2025. Comments for Judge Iscoe, Judge Knowles, and Judge Wynn may be submitted by November 3, 2025. Comments for Judge Bush, Judge Canan, and Judge Combs Greene are due by November 14, 2025.
