Donate blood at the Iowa City Municipal Airport on May 19

The University of Iowa's DeGowin Blood Center and the University of Iowa Health Care's AirCare will be hosting a blood drive at the Iowa City Municipal Airport's Terminal Building from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

The blood drive is being held as part of EMS Week, a celebration of EMS professionals and the vital work that they do every single day across our country.

Those interested in donating should register online via the DeGowin Blood Center's website or by calling 319-356-2058. Those who donate will also be able to check out one of Iowa Health Care's AirCare helicopters, which will be at the event.
