Matt Dallek, professor of political management at George Washington University.
Matt Dallek, a professor of political management at George Washington University, received a Humanities Facilitating Fundaward from GW's Office of the Vice Provost of Research. He will use the financial support to conduct archival research for his upcoming book on political violence.
The HFF award program provides up to $5,000 in funding to support humanities scholarship among GW faculty. The scholarship is open to all regular-status faculty across departments and units. The initiative aims to strengthen research in the humanities and foster new scholarly contributions.
Dallek is a political historian whose interests include the intersection of social crises and political transformation, the evolution of the modern conservative movement, and liberalism and its critics. Dallek has authored or co-authored four books, including, most recently, "Birchers: How the John Birch Society Radicalized the American Right."
