Chinese Consul General in Cape Town Ren Faqiang Visits and Extends Greetings to Overseas Chinese in East London, Eastern Cape

On January 17, Chinese Consul General in Cape Town Ren Faqiang visited members of the overseas Chinese community in East London, Eastern Cape. He conveyed the care and concern of the CPC Central Committee, distributed Spring Festival gift packages, and suggested everyone to support one another, strengthen safety awareness, operate in compliance with the law, and celebrate a peaceful and joyful Lunar New Year.

Consul General Ren emphasized that the Consulate-General in Cape Town will continue to act on the commitment of serving the people through diplomacy and firmly safeguard the safety and legitimate rights of overseas Chinese. The community expressed gratitude for the care and support from the motherland.

Ren also attended and delivered remarks at the Spring Festival gala jointly organized by the Eastern Cape Chinese Community & Police Cooperation Center and the Eastern Cape Eastern Chinese Business Association.
