Mayor Santiago Avila, Jr. appointed to Florida League of Cities’ Committee
We're proud to share that Deltona Mayor Santiago Avila, Jr. has been appointed to the Florida League of Cities 2025-2026 Municipal Operations Committee, one of the League's Legislative Policy Committees.
As part of this committee, Mayor Avila will help shape the League's Legislative Platform, focusing on issues that impact municipal governance and local decision-making. He'll also advocate for the needs of Deltona residents and communities across Florida.
Mayor Avila shared:
"It's an honor to serve on the Florida League of Cities' Municipal Operations Committee. This role gives me the opportunity to advocate for Deltona and ensure that the voices of our residents are represented in statewide policy discussions."
