04/21/2026 - Fiber Installation Work Underway

Notice - Fiber Installation Work Underway

Ziply Fiber in coordination with their subcontractor MasTec, have begun installing fiber-optic cables in the Eastside neighborhood.

Work is occurring primarily within parking strips and sidewalks and is expected to continue for approximately six weeks. The construction area is located north of Ward Lake and south of Centerwood Dr SE, between Henderson Blvd SE and Boulevard Rd SE.

At this time, there are no planned street closures. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Arterial streets and major collector roads are expected to remain fully open during peak travel times.
