LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Nov. 17-23. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Bryant St. over Interstate 35: flagging operation on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge joint repair.

Interstate 29 southbound ramp to Interstate 635 southbound: right lane closed on Saturday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 23, from approximately 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

JACKSON COUNT Y

Interstate 70 eastbound at Broadway Blvd: lane and ramp closures from Monday, Nov. 17 until Wednesday, Nov. 19, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for drainage work.

• Right lane closed on I-70 eastbound at Broadway Blvd.
• Ramp closed from 6th near Broadway Blvd. to I-70 eastbound

35th St. bridge over U.S. Highway 71: bridge closed on Monday, Nov. 17, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge joint work.

Interstate 470 southbound ramp to Missouri Highway 291: ramp closed on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from approximately 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., for pavement repair. Details: REVISED SB off ramp closure to MO 291 from SB I-470 in Lee's Summit for pavement work, Nov. 18 | Missouri Department of Transportation

U.S. Highway 40 eastbound at SW 19th St.: right lane closed on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

Missouri Highway 7 between Missouri Highway 150 and Herring Rd.: flagging operation on Thursday, Nov. 20, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair and drainage work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route MM between NE 500 Rd. and NE 951 Rd.: road closed on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

Missouri Highway 23 between Route DD and Route D: flagging operations from Monday, Nov. 17 until Wednesday, Nov. 19, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Route F between Route BB and SW 800 RD.: flagging operation on Monday, Nov. 17, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 224 in Lexington between Highland Ave. east and Highland Ave. west: road closed from approximately 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, for brush cutting.

PLATTE COUNTY

U.S. Highway 169 southbound ramp to I-29 southbound: ramp closed on Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23, from approximately 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
