HENDERSON, Nev. (March. 10, 2026) -The Henderson Police Department is mourning the loss of Detective Brandonn Trotter, who passed away this morning following medical complications.
Detective Trotter joined the Henderson Police Department in 2007 and devoted almost two decades of service to the City of Henderson. Throughout his career, he served the community with professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to public safety.
Chief of Police Reggie Rader recognized Detective Trotter's dedication and passion in his current assignment with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
"Detective Trotter protected the most vulnerable among us and because of his relentless work, saved countless young lives and spared unimaginable heartbreak," said Chief Rader. "Detective Trotter's legacy will live on in every child who grew up safe because he refused to stop fighting for them."The Henderson Police Department extends its heartfelt condolences to Detective Trotter's family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time and asks the community to keep them in their thoughts.
