ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --

The commander of the Air Force Reserve Command and Chief of Air Force Reserve Lt. Gen. Paul Fast visited Davis-Monthan and Luke Air Force bases, Ariz., Oct 26-29, where he met with Airmen, provided a keynote address to the annual Air Reserve Component Weapons and Tactics Conference, and received updates on how ARCWERX is sustaining an innovation focus across the reserve components.

The visits included meetings with wing leaders, mission updates and an opportunity to meet with Airmen from the 305th Rescue Squadron, 943th Rescue Group, 610th Command and Control Squadron at Davis-Monthan and 944th Fighter Wing at Luke. Fast also recognized several Airmen, highlighting the professionalism and service reflected across the units.

He also visited workspaces, where Airmen described how their teams are balancing day-to-day operations with evolving mission demands.

During his second day in Tucson, he addressed the 10th Air Force Crucible. Crucible is the premier semi-annual training and collaboration conference for the 10th AF wing command teams. Designed to sharpen command readiness, the conference brings together commanders, command chiefs, and key leaders from across 10AF's 17 diverse wings and groups. The Crucible acts as a strategic leadership forum to align unit commands with high-end warfighting priorities, foster multi-domain collaboration, and ensure the "Carnivore Nation" remains postured to deliver agile, lethal combat capabilities worldwide.

Throughout the visit, Fast saw how Reserve Airmen are embracing his three focus areas of Prepare for War, Develop Our Airmen, and Deliver the Reserve Advantage.
