11 June 2026, Basseterre, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis - The 10th Annual Growth and Resilience Dialogue hosted by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) featured a cadre of professional thought leaders addressing the various pillars of transformation under the Big Push vision of Governor Antoine.
Speaking on this week's episode of ECCB Connects, Saint Lucian born Ross Cadastre, Founder of ITS Global, BICOPJobs.ca and TalentBank Caribbean, Canada; in his presentation titled Innovation and Economic Transformation, outlines the key ingredients needed to turn today's momentum into long-term economic growth and competitiveness. He notes that this is a pivotal moment for small-island developing states and suggests that the region is uniquely positioned to capitalise on major shifts taking place within the global economy.
Cadastre identifies five key pillars that can help the region harness this momentum and position itself for the next global revolution. These include talent systems, digital infrastructure, capital innovation, entrepreneurship and coordination that can accurately measure success to ensure that th process is working. In concluding, Cadastre reinforces that aligned execution of all these pillars can build the future of our region.
