Titan Introduces Goodyear® Softrac™ Pro and Softrac™ Smooth to Redefine Turf Performance

QUINCY, IL  — Titan International, Inc. (Titan) recently launched two new Goodyear Farm Tire® branded outdoor power equipment product lines, Goodyear Softrac™ Pro and Goodyear Softrac™ Smooth. These lines were designed to work together as front and rear fitments, and they deliver an elevated performance for a variety of landscaping equipment including commercial and residential zero-turn mowers.

These product introductions follow Titan’s recent expansion of Goodyear licensing rights into additional product segments, announced last year.

“For years, turf tires have looked largely the same, and recent aggressive designs have swung too far without considering everyday functionality,” said Peter Kortes, Outdoor Power Equipment Product Manager for the Titan Specialty Division. “We set out to create a tread that strikes the perfect balance, modern and bold, yet still turf-friendly and practical for any user. The result delivers standout style with the optimal performance customers expect from their equipment.”

Goodyear Softrac™ Pro

The Softrac Pro line was designed with a forward-thinking tread profile and a refined contour that works with the landscape rather than against it, providing a smoother ride, improved stability on slopes, and a level of turf protection that elevates everyday performance. It’s a modern solution built for professionals and homeowners delivering long-lasting durability and dependable traction without compromising the quality of the terrain beneath it.

Key benefits include:

  • Proprietary ozone-resistant tread compound extends tire life
  • Meticulously engineered tread pattern reduces turf damage and enhances traction
  • Multi-angle lug pattern provides excellent traction on hillsides and in various conditions
  • Tire contour is designed to provide even wear and improve ride

Current sizes range from 20x10.00-8NHS to 26x12.00-12NHS, including the most popular rear fitments for commercial and residential zero-turn mowers. Additional sizes are forthcoming and will also be tailored to front engine riders, as well as compact tractors, ensuring broad compatibility across a variety of equipment.

Goodyear Softrac Smooth

These front fitments are engineered for high-precision commercial mowers. The Softrac Smooth line is built to deliver precise handling and clean cutting lines under heavy, repeated workloads.

Available sizes include 11x4.00-513x5.00-613x6.50-6, covering key front wheel mower fitments and ensuring dependable performance.

Designed for OEM and Commercial Landscaper Needs

The Softrac Pro and Softrac Smooth lines have been vigorously tested by several OEMs, reinforcing Titan’s commitment to building application-focused solutions that enhance equipment performance in real field conditions. Working together as front and rear fitments, both lines go hand in hand to support a full range of commercial mower configurations, including zero-turn, stand-on, and low-profile applications, helping manufacturers and dealers outfit their fleet with a top-tier brand while improving overall performance.
