Primoco ups sales 67 pct to CZK431m, doubles profit in Jan-Sept

Prague, Oct 5 (CTK) - Czech drone manufacturer Primoco UAV more than doubled its net profit year-on-year to CZK105m in the first nine months of 2026 from CZK50m a year ago, while its sales rose 67 percent to CZK431m, according to preliminary unaudited results, the company said on its website.

Primoco's EBITDA nearly doubled to CZK143m in the first three quarters from CZK75m a year ago.

Primoco UAV plans to deliver another 18 aircraft by the end of the year, generating about CZK515m in sales and bringing full-year revenue to a record high. Its sales and net profit for the first nine months have already exceeded the full-year 2025 figures of CZK389.3m and CZK104.2m, respectively.

"Production is continuous, but deliveries of individual systems to customers follow the schedules and technical requirements of specific contracts. Most of this year's deliveries are therefore concentrated in the second half of the year," said Primoco UAV board chairman Ladislav Semetkovsky.

The company plans to deliver a total of 32 new One 150 aircraft this year. It is also working on two potential European contracts that could involve deliveries of up to 200 unmanned aircraft in the coming years. Each contract is worth more than EUR100m (nearly CZK2.5bn), according to the company.

In June, Primoco UAV opened a professional drone pilot training centre at an airfield near Pisek, southern Bohemia, at a cost of about CZK100m. The company describes it as the world's first certified training centre operating to military standards. It is also planning a new production plant in Pisek for approximately CZK600m and has received construction bids from six companies.

Primoco UAV shares are traded on the main market of the Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP). With a market capitalisation of CZK5bn, the company ranked among the 100 most valuable Czech companies last year.
