Apr. 13, 2026

HARRISBURG - State Rep. Andrea Verobish (R-Blair) took the oath of office Monday to begin serving the 79th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

"I'm honored to have the chance to take the solemn oath to defend both the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of our Commonwealth," Verobish said. "Beyond that, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to serve as the voice of the people of the 79th District in Harrisburg. I look forward to defending faith, family and freedom not just for the people back home, but across Pennsylvania."

Prior to her election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Verobish's public service experience includes working as an income maintenance caseworker with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, serving as a legislative aide to Sen. John H. Eichelberger Jr. in the 30th state Senatorial District, and working as a field representative for Congressman Glenn "GT" Thompson.

Verobish is also very active in the community, especially with her church and her daughters' school.

The 79th District consists of Allegheny Township, the city of Altoona, Logan Township and Tunnelhill Borough.
