Snow Street List Update

The City of Bowling Green has added eight new roadways to its Snow Streets list. These roadways were included because they are either cul-de-sacs or dead ends, which makes it challenging for snowplows to clear them.

The added streets are:

  • Derby Avenue
  • Sunrise Drive
  • Margaretha Lane
  • Tanglewood Lane
  • Robinwood Lane
  • Kerry Lane
  • St. Andrews Court
  • Larchwood Drive

Vehicles must be moved off designated snow streets within two hours of a Snow Emergency declaration if declared between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. If the Snow Emergency is declared overnight, vehicles must be moved by 9 a.m. Snow Emergencies are typically called when the City receives 2 inches or more of snow. If vehicles are not removed, they may be towed and/or receive a citation. Snow streets are indicated by blue and white signs. A complete list is available on the City website: bgohio.gov/snowstreet s.

Those who do not live on designated snow streets are asked to remove vehicles from the road whenever possible. Doing so helps crews remove snow along the roads quickly and safely.
