NEW YORK - Sept. 30, 2025 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented SAINVUS in connection with its launch and the completion of its first strategic acquisition, the acquisition of Schulman Lobel, a leading CPA firm with offices in New York City, New Jersey, and Los Angeles.
SAINVUS is led by co-founders Jonathan Smidt, a former partner at KKR, and Hilliard Milner, a Chartered Accountant and technology entrepreneur. The newly launched platform focuses on acquiring and supporting CPA firms across the United States, with a mission to provide practices with the infrastructure, resources, and capital needed to thrive in a competitive and evolving market. Unlike traditional consolidators, the firm emphasizes long-term partnerships that allow firms to maintain their culture and client relationships while gaining access to operational support, growth capital, and expanded service offerings.
The Greenberg Traurig team that represented SAINVUS was led by New York Corporate Shareholder Shaun Levor, Chicago Corporate Shareholder Matthew Whited and Mexico City Corporate Of Counsel Alex Wang.
