First-Year Phenom: Jabari Holder Punches His Ticket to the 2026 NCAA DII Championship
Virginia Beach, VA - After a successful first indoor track and field season, rookie is not done yet, as he earns selection to the triple jump field at the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship, slated to begin on March 13.
Holder is seeded 18th and is one of three freshman in the field. His collegiate best distance stands at 15.07m which he achieved at the Dr. Sander Scorcher, helded at the Armory in New York City. The top seeded athletes are from Chadron STate and Washburn, setting a mark og 16.01m this season as 15 different institutions are represented.
The championships will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Norfolk State University and Visit Virginia Beach will serve as co-hosts of the championships. The triple jump event is set to begin on Saturday, March 15 at noon (EST).
